In the world of NASCAR DFS and Betting heartbreak, no race compared to the spring Cup race in Darlington. As we prepare for the Cook Out Southern 500 on Sunday, It’s important to remember that the past is in the past. We (The Garage Fam) control our destiny for this maximum-level endurance race.
The Lady In Black is quite frankly one cold bitch, and if you aren’t on your game she will spin your bank account into a never-ending spiral of doom. Fortunately, you have a man who will not bow down to this fierce beast.
That man is Me (Garage Guy AKA Dude who doesn’t care about the term Too Tough To Tame) and I’ve studied my ass off to get us all a bag!
If you were able to catch the Garage Guys Race Preview, you saw that I talked about four drivers that I liked pre-qualifying. Those included have shown that they have what it takes to make moves during this race in years past. This isn’t years past though, and things have changed.
Dont get me wrong, I still like all four of the guys I talked about. I even would go as far as saying that I think a couple of them could get a win at this track on Sunday, but we have to focus on a little thing I like to call “Place Differential Potential”.

DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks For Darlington: The Money Bois
#4 Kevin Harvick – $8.5K
Harvick has shown up and shown out late in the regular season, and now that the playoffs are here you know he’s gonna run. What I like about this play is his ability to easily slide into the Top 10. Harvick has been a Darlington KING and has the patience to make a big leap and hold it.
#19 Martin Truex Jr. – $9.5K
Truex has been in Garage Guy’s prison for a hot minute now. I’ve lost so much money on this dude this year, but I can’t ignore the gut when it calls (even for the worst of the worst). Truex had some impressive lap averages in practice, and If those numbers cross into Sunday we will all be happy we had him in our lineups.
#99 Daniel Suarez – $8K
Playing Suarez in your lineups this week is solely based on chalk. Daniel Dale Suarez didn’t get to qualify after failing inspection, but he showed he had some speed. He finished inside the Top 10 earlier this year and this time he starts from the back of the field.
#42 Ty Dillon – $5.8K
Ty Dillon has no ride next year, and not a whole lot to show for his season with Petty GMS. This is exactly why I’m making him my “Duffle Bag Boi” at Darlington on Sunday. Dillon starts P29 and has some decent lap averages that show promise for a solid score at a discount.
