Ladies and gentlemen, the NASCAR Truck Series now heads to Nashville Superspeedway for the Rackley Roofing 200. All three NASCAR series return to the track this weekend, and with the Trucks first up on Friday night, I’m pumped to break down the NASCAR Trucks bets and DFS slate for this weekend’s event!
After going 1-2 with our Best Bets at Knoxville, it’s time to regroup and get back to basics. Ty Majeski got us a key H2H victory over ThorSport teammate, Christian Eckes. However, I was on the wrong side in a major way as Zane Smith upset Chandler Smith in their H2H. With plenty of data and key indicators to pull from, I think we have an opportunity to capitalize on a number of bets this week!
Before we dive into our Best Bets, one thing I need to mention is the tire code Goodyear is bringing to Nashville. For the Truck Series, it’s a tire combo that was previously used in Vegas, Charlotte, Texas, and Kansas. This is a tool I use when betting each series as it helps to give an advantage when handicapping. In addition, it’s important to look at historical loop data metrics when comparing these races as it really helps to give a broad idea as to which driver stood out the most. With that being said, Let’s get into our Truck Series Best Bets!
NASCAR Trucks Best Bets: Rackley Roofing 200 At Nashville Superspeedway
#17 Ryan Preece -121 vs. #98 Christian Eckes -108 (DraftKings Sportsbook)
Defending Truck Series winner, Ryan Preece is a name that will certainly be in contention come the end of Friday Night. When piloting the #17 Truck this year, Ryan has been one of the best each time he’s raced. The last time we saw him race, it was at Charlotte where coming to the white flag, he and Hocevar tangled thus resulting in a disappointing finish. Although Eckes has been very solid on a weekly basis, this is more about how Preece performs on these track types. For those that are unable to get Preece in a H2H, I highly recommend his top-3 finishing position odds which range from +190 to +225 depending on your book. Consider this a bonus Best Bet!
#4 John Hunter Nemechek Top-3 +140 (Barstool Sportsbook)
After looking at the loop data at the comparable tracks to Nashville this week, there may be no driver better than JHN. The #4 team has been bad fast all year, and as the series closes in on the regular season in a few weeks, I predict JHN’s Championship run begins this week at Nashville. At +140, I love the value I’m getting at a track that is going to be difficult to pass. Assuming JHN qualifies well, look for the #4 to be top-3 early and often!

DFS Driver Picks for DraftKings: Rackley Roofing 200 At Nashville Superspeedway
#19 Derek Kraus – ($8.1K)
For Kraus, he’s a driver knocking on the door to get a win this year. He’s shown glimpses of speed but needs a race where he’s able to put the whole thing together. At a similar track type (Gateway), he drove to the front multiple times. I firmly believe he has a good showing on Friday night, and at $8.1k, he’s a driver that will certainly be in my lineups!
#25 Matt DiBenedetto – ($7.8K)
One guy that I think is a major surprise this weekend is Matt DiBenedetto. It’s difficult to explain, but I got this gut feeling about Matty D this week, and with the event carrying the same sponsorship as his truck team, the stars could be aligning for DiBenedetto to shine bright. Give me the $7.8k value all day!
