Ladies and gentlemen, after a “home” visit last week in Charlotte, the NASCAR Truck Series now heads to the mid-west to tackle the difficult World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway) as we prepare for the NASCAR Trucks bets and DFS slate for the Toyota 200.
After another stellar ‘Best Bets’ weekend, we managed to go 2-1 and took our already impressive record to now 14-4 YTD. After getting a timely caution late in the race, we were able to sweep both H2H matchups. As a result, our H2H matchup record is a PERFECT 10-0 on the year! Will any matchups be on the card this weekend? Stay tuned to find out.
After experiencing the race firsthand last weekend, my biggest takeaway was how competitive the series really is. NASCAR, collectively, is in good hands with all the talent we have in the lower series. On top of that, the entire area was buzzing with excitement as it reminded me of what the early 2000’s were like in the sport.
For the first time in months, the NASCAR Truck Series will be racing during the day. This long 1.25-mile egg-shaped design is really going to test drivers from start to finish. Qualifying is critical as it’s a race to see who will get clean air first because that is the ticket to success on a track like this. Get ready, buckle up, and let’s handicap some Trucks Series bets!

#23 Grant Enfinger Top 5 +130 (DraftKings Sportsbook)
After watching practice/qualifying and listening to some radio communication during practice, one driver stood out to me where I knew I could find value. That driver’s name is Grant Enfinger. With a strong qualifying effort of 10th, it was his practice speeds that truly stuck out to me.
Enfinger turned the 3rd fastest time and posted the 4th best 10 consecutive lap average. This is no surprise with the steady progress he has been showing each week. At comparable tracks this year he finished 8th (Martinsville) & 4th (Darlington). A Top 5 for Grant is well in play this weekend, and at +130, sign me up!
#98 Christian Eckes Top 5 +100 (DraftKings Sportsbook)
If one plus money Top 5 bet wasn’t good enough, we have another that looks just as good. In four of the past five races, Eckes has finished inside the top 5. He’s a driver knocking on the door to grab a win and is someone that is carrying a ton of momentum.
We know how fast he’s been this year, and he showed it once again in practice as he scored the 2nd fastest speed followed by a 5th place qualifying effort. Give me +100 for Eckes to finish with a top 5!

DFS Driver Picks for DraftKings: Toyota 200 At WWT Raceway
#61 Chase Purdy – ($7.3K)
Want to look like one of the smartest people in the room? Add Chase Purdy to your DFS team. He scored a Top 10 finish here last year and looked really good in practice/qualifying. He’s got enough speed to score a ton of points on Saturday, and at only $7.3k, he’s well worth the add.
#17 Taylor Gray – ($7K)
Another guy that holds a ton of value, but with a low price point and presumably low ownership is Taylor Gray. At only $7.0k, he’s a great addition to any lineup. We know how fast the #17 has been the past few weeks, and now Taylor gets his opportunity. I expect him to be a MAJOR player in all lineups this weekend.
