Food City Dirt Race: NASCAR Betting Tips, Odds, Predictions

The NASCAR bois are back on dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Food City Dirt Race on Easter Sunday, and we gotta cop a dirty bag of cash! The NASCAR Betting scene was popping yesterday over a few select drivers, and after spending all day watching the guys dirt drift I’ve got some predictions of my own to share. The odds opened up in favor of the “Dirt Bois”, but after yesterday’s practice runs, things have changed (Imagine if you followed us on Twitter and you saw that FanDuel left the odds open so you could have gotten extreme value).

First things first, I have to show you betting fools some of the footage from yesterday. You guys know how much I love overusing a camera, and I was able to capture some sick footage.

Now that you have a feel for that up close and personal look at Bristol Dirt, let’s cover what we know. There was one man ripping top yesterday that has a legit dirt background, and his name is Tyler Reddick. Red Dog finished inside the Top 5 for both practices on Friday. You already know I had to grab some Reddick yesterday, and I’ll talk more about that soon.

Kyle Larson also clapped back in the second practice, posting the second-fastest lap average behind Reddick. He is obviously still a favorite here for many reasons, but a big concern is how rough he was up on the wall. Running like that can get you to the top, but the question is, can he stay there?

NASCAR Best Bets For Bristol Dirt

Tyler Reddick To Win +1000 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Reddick looked incredible in practice yesterday and It’s time for the Red Dog to get a win in the NASCAR Cup Series. His lap averages are there from practice and as mentioned above, he finished both practices inside the Top 5. I was fortunate to grab him on Friday at +1400, but he’s fallen to +1000 now on FanDuel. Grab him at This price while you still can.

Kyle Busch To Win +1600 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Kyle Busch is the only guy whos not a dirt ringer that posted the best practice speeds inside the Top 3 yesterday. His lap averages weren’t great, but that’s because he was running all over the track experimenting with the dirt. Man still has zero wins this season and I look for him to be there in the end.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Top 5 +200 (DraftKings Sportsbook)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been racing dirt since he was a wee little lad in Mississippi, so its safe to say dirt runs through his veins. His lap averages were solid in Fridays practice and he was ripping top like the pro that he is. He and the JTG squad are working hard to make Ricky’s car versatile for Sunday night, and if that’s the case, Stenhouse is the ultimate threat towards the end of the race.

Austin Dillon Top 10 +130 (DraftKings Sportsbook)

Dillon has had some of the best finishes in his career this season, and with Reddick being a dirt ringer, I look for AD to be on his job to keep up and put RCR in a good place on dirt. Dillon has had limited experience, but he’s won in the Dirt Nationals and is forever the inaugural Eldora Dirt Truck Race winner. But don’t take it from me, take it from Austin Himself.
