Welcome to the NEW Atlanta Motor Speedway Garage Fam! It’s time to set your NASCAR DFS lineups for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, and this week’s Driver Picks (along with a ton of other driver picks) are chalkier than ever before. I’m not complaining at all though, because we have the secret weapon to ensure we finish in the green (The Mixure).
It’s been a fun time in Atlanta so far with my compadre Dale Tanhardt, and the racing has been a lot better than anticipated. When taking all the factors in from Trucks and Xfinity, we are truly in for a Superspeedway style race on Sunday.
The fastest in Cup Practice ended up being Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and he basically had a jetpack strapped to his car. When looking at the averages….Wait never mind this is superspeedway racing.
Expect this race to be all about flowing with the going. My suggestion is to have plenty of chalk with the superspeedway strategy that Chef BoiRDeen created, but also have some conservative lines. It’s the best way to ensure bags (Remember, The Mixure).
If you’re looking to bet on the race, be sure to check out my Best Bets on Action Network. I’ve got some wild boi plays for this week that you Garage Fam degenerates should love.

Folds Of Honor QuikTrip 500: NASCAR DFS Lineup Picks For DraftKings & FanDuel
#11 Denny Hamlin (DraftKings – $10.1K | FanDuel – $12K)
Denny Hamlin Hamilton Esq. (AKA Dennis) starts P15 and is one of my favorite plays of the week. Hamlin has been nothing short of “meh” as of late, but he gets an early second shot at pack racing through the field and parting it like Moses. It’s survival of the fittest, and in these types of racing wars, you need a General.
#47 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (DraftKings – $7.1K | FanDuel – $6.5K)
I’m ready for a Ricky Stenhouse win, and I don’t know if this is the race we get it, but it could happen. Its anyone’s game here now, and Ricky is not afraid to move cars if he needs to. He starts P28 on Sunday, and may not be played as much as expected due to his aggressive nature and other big drivers starting toward the rear.
#19 Martin Truex Jr. (DraftKings – $9.2K | FanDuel – $10K)
Martin Truex Jr. was my first bet of the week on Action Network to deliver a Top 10, so I’m obviously going to back the play in DFS as well. Truex has shown me more in one race at Daytona to know that he can make it here in Daylanta (Tallalanta, AtlantaDega, whatever) with this new car. He rolls off P26 in his Joe Gibbs Game Plan For Life Toyota.
#7 Corey Lajoie (DraftKings – $5.3K | FanDuel – $3K)
With so many chalky superstars this week, I have to turn to the one play that may be undervalued, Corey Lajoie. Corey has had a quiet but good start to the 2022 season with Spire, and starting in P33 at his price is NICE. Superspeedway strategists will almost always suggest playing Lajoie because it’s science, so play him.
