It’s NASCAR DFS LIVE from the ATL! The Garage Guys have arrived in Atlanta for a great weekend of racing at the final “Old Atlanta” racetrack.
RIP to this old, sexy asphalt surface that the geniuses at NASCAR are going to transform into a figure 8. Can’t wait for that.
The Credit Karma Money 250 will, once again, feature KFB who has swept every race he’s competed in this season on the Xfinity side. Can he make it five in a row?
KFB will start from the pole on Saturday and obviously will be difficult to beat. The Atlanta race earlier this year was a fantastic race as it was won by Justin Allgaier.
With it being the final race at this configuration, we gotta go out with a bang.
Let’s get right into it.
NASCAR DFS Xfinity Picks For DraftKings
Noah Gragson: #9 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $9,200
I’m back on the NG9 train. Gragson was bad fast here in the spring race, as he finished 4th with a junk race car.
He was in a massive crash and after multiple repairs throughout the race, he came all the way back to finish in the Top 5. JR Motorsports was very strong here in the spring, collectively.
Gragson has ripped of four straight Top 10 finishes and is accumulating great momentum heading into July. With a starting spot of P9, I love his upside as a dark horse to win the race and think he’ll finish in the Top 5.
Justin Allgaier: #7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $10,600
Staying in the JR fleet as I absolutely love Justin Allgaier this weekend. As mentioned earlier, Allgaier won the spring race here and has performed outstanding on 1.5’s and on abrasive surfaces this season.
He has three Top 3 finishes in the last four races and is consistently putting together one of his best seasons ever. If there’s anybody who has proven they can compete with KFB this season, it’s the #7 team. Watch for Allgaier to upset KFB this weekend.
Colby Howard: #15 JD Motorsports Chevrolet – $6,100
Howard starts P36 on Saturday and finished 21st in the Atlanta spring race. He has seven Top 25 finishes in 15 starts this season.
Howard has put together several solid runs and there’s not many trustworthy guys in his price range. If you’re not sold on Howard, I like David Starr a lot this weekend too because of the car he’s driving.
I’m gonna play a lot of Howard on Saturday and bank on his place-differential to carry the load.
Josh Berry: #31 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet – $10,000
Berry starts P28. There’s no doubt in my mind he can run in the Top 10. In two starts in the #31 entry, he’s finished 8th and 9th.
Atlanta was tough for Berry in the spring, but I don’t expect that to inhibit his run this weekend. The raw talent this guy displays each time he gets in a racecar is truly special.
I think Berry runs Top 10, Top 15 at the worst on Saturday.
Let’s get it ATL!!
