Welcome back to the Greatest NASCAR Bettor in the History of the Universe. This Saturday the NASCAR DFS slate for the Xfinity Series goes back to left turns only for the Alsco Uniforms 250 Powered by Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen.
But we’re in Texas. So these turns are the Biggest left turns ever.
The Allmendinger vs. Cindric show that I called last week (it was too easy to predict that) will be put on standby for a few weeks. Kyle Fucking Busch returns to the Xfinity Series on Saturday to try and stink up the show.
There is a LOT of chalk out there this weekend. Honestly, there’s too much chalk. The race is overflowing with chalk.
KFB’s price of $14,800 is about where I would expect it to be. It shakes up the competition and betting strategy for sure.
Here’s the twist though: he’s driving the Twix car. That car is cursed. There’s no way he wins on Saturday. Not gonna happen. Nobody wins driving a cursed racecar. It’s science.
People are probably tuning away after reading that. So let’s just get right into it.
NASCAR DFS Xfinity Picks For DraftKings
Harrison Burton: #20 JGR Toyota – $9,700
I love Harrison Burton this weekend. He starts 18th and has boasted competitive speed on the intermediates. He also won this race in the fall in a last-lap pass on Noah Gragson.
This season definitely has not gone to plan for Harrison: no wins, a few DNF’s, and missed opportunities all around. The kid won four races last year. He’s gonna be back in victory lane soon. It’s just a matter of time.
I think Harrison finishes in the Top 3 on Saturday if he doesn’t win the race. I’m big on Jeff’s boy this weekend.
FYI, Jeff was pretty good here back in his day. Keep an eye out for Harrison to replicate his success.
Josh Berry: #8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $10,200
Berry starts 28th in what has been a very fast car all season. He has had tremendous success throughout, and I expect him to be a contender in Saturday’s race.
I love that he’s getting some reps in the truck race before the Xfinity race Saturday afternoon. If there has been any weak point in his game, it’s been on the 1.5 mile tracks.
Berry’s been able to learn quickly and figure it out. I think he runs Top 10 this weekend.
Stefan Parsons: #99 BJ McLeod Motorsports Ford – $6,100
I love when this guy races because he is proven to be one of my favorite punt plays.
In six starts this season, he has four finishes of 23rd or better. The ROI I’ve earned on this guy is tremendous.
He returns to the series with a starting position on Saturday of 37th. The driver has some talent, and the car has some speed. This team is worthy of a Top 20 finish. Book Parsons as a top punt play this weekend.
Tommy Joe Martins: #44 Martins Motorsports Chevrolet – $6,000
I’m absolutely stunned by this salary. TJM starts 36th and has shown clear Top 20 speed all season long.
I know he’s had some DNF’s and made some mistakes on track that have been costly, but the speed is there. If he keeps his race clean, he’s a for sure top play. I expect Mississippi’s own to have himself a solid day on Saturday.
Book him for a Top 20 with a solid chance at a Top 15.
Daniel Hemric: #18 JGR Toyota – $9,100
This guy just sometimes has the most unbelievable bad luck ever. He consistently has rocket ships as racecars and cannot get the finishes he deserves.
Three to four times this season he’s had one of the best cars in the field and led many laps. The bad luck cannot hang around forever.
Bad luck doesn’t curse fast racecars for too long. Hemric will be fast again on Saturday and I expect him to run up front and contend for the win. Hopefully he’ll be there at the end. I’m gonna take the gamble.
