Qualifying has just concluded for the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. My NASCAR DFS picks for the Xfinity Series this afternoon are straight winners, baby.
My brain has also concluded. I am hungover, tired, and sad. But, I’m not sad, actually. Because I continue to win money.
Trucks were a big hit last night. We supplied more winners and I expect it to continue this afternoon.
Like I said, I’m hungover. I don’t feel like writing words. Let’s get right into it.
NASCAR DFS Xfinity Picks For DraftKings
Ty Gibbs: #54 JGR Toyota – $10,800
This kid don’t need no damn sponsors. He’s the prodigy.
Gibbs has been a DFS monster in his short career: fast laps, place differential, Top 5’s, wins, he does it all. It also helps that this #54 has been lightning fast all year long.
I don’t think there’s any slowing down for this kid. He starts P8, and I expect him to charge to the front and stay there.
Noah Gragson: #9 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $9,600
Ah, it’s been a while.
I’m back on the Gragson train. With a P23 starting spot, the upside here is tremendous.
Many are freaking out over the JR fleet not qualifying well, but I am not concerned. I think they will be fast come race time.
I think Noah gets it back on track today and contends for the win.
Brandon Brown: #68 Brandonbilt Motorsports Chevrolet – $7,000
He starts P32. He has shown capable of running well on 1.5’s.
This team has had some really good speed throughout this season. Brown is the ultimate punt play here because of his place-differential upside.
I think Brown runs Top 15 today. Even if he runs Top 20, that’s fantastic ROI. Book it.
Brandon Jones: #19 JGR Toyota – $9,000
Here’s my theory about BJ:
He has one or two terrible races and then he has one or two amazing races. There is no in between.
It’s not really a theory, actually. Just look at his statistics. Also, he’s had two bad races in a row. That means today is going to be a great day for the #19.
I believe Jones is an excellent dark horse to win, and he will have the speed to get it done. Love me some BJ today.
Tommy Joe Martins: #44 Martins Motorsports Chevrolet – $5,200
I think this is the first time I’ve ever written up my Mississippi boy, TJM. I’ll need someone to verify that for me.
TJM and his team have been impressive this year showing solid speed and sitting in a respectable 18th in the points standings.
Tommy Joe has 7 Top 20’s in 11 races this season. And at times, he’s shown capabilities to run in the Top 10. I think based on his price and grid spot of P27, TJM is a worthy option for a punt play that can prove to be very valuable for your lineups today.
