Now that the Waffle House/ Kapowski energy has been unleashed by us here at Garage Guys, It’s time for the power of the Gut Boi to be fully unleashed. I’ve taken two days to go over every situation in my head that could play out on the worlds largest speedway, listened to Talladega by Eric Church a total of 9 times, and asked my wife (Official NASCAR White Witch) to cast protection spells on each driver I have listed below.
Get ready for a wild ride playing Chef Boi’s Strategy, with a little bit of my Mixure Theory this Sunday. Bags come at a price, and I’m glad you paid it (really, thanks for paying for premium so my son can buy more Dogecoin now).

NASCAR DFS Gut Bois – GEICO 500 At Talladega Superspeedway
#21 Matt DiBenedetto (DK- $8.2K | FD – $7.3K)
Matty D knows that it’s now or never when it comes to getting a NASCAR Cup Series win, and when it comes to the Mixure lines, Debbie will be in most of mine. Matt came so close last year before being taken to the cleaners by Hamlin, and seeing him on the verge of tears fucked me up.
Don’t think Debbie ever forgets, and aside from him ready to get his first dub, Matt has had some decent plate race runs (mainly at Daytona in his career tho). Even though the results are shit at Dega, I feel like we see a Top 5 (+500) for Matt on Sunday.
#99 Daniel Suarez (DK – $6.2K | FD – $3.5K)
If you saw my fuck up on Ricky Stenhouse Jr in my free picks article this week, you should have seen this pick coming. Suarez has looked way better this year riding in Pitbull’s car, and the Bois at Trackhouse may have some sneaky tricks up their sleeve.
The best finish Suarez has ever had at Dega was P10 when he drove that ugly ass Aris car for Coach Joe. He can get back there now, and if we feel the energy, we’ll get the flow.
#20 Christopher Bell (DK – $7.4K | FD – $9K)
I know this may be an odd pick, and you have every right to disregard it but I can’t shake the feeling that I will regret not playing C Bell on Sunday. He has a short Cup Series track record, and the starting position of P6 will most likely not be flattering to many, but I see it as a golden opportunity.
Bell looked incredible in the Joe Gibbs #20 car back at Daytona and led a good many laps until he blew a rear tire. I look for that same speed to be applied on Sunday, and even if he dips back, I feel like we will see him chilling in the Top 10 when the checkered flag waves.
#37 Ryan Preece (DK – $6.4K | FD – $8K)
Preece needs no introduction to my Dega picks because I’ve written about him almost every year since I’ve been in the Fantasy NASCAR biz. Preece always lands towards the rear and racks up high points in DFS.
This Sunday he starts in P29, and should easily float towards the Top 20 within the first few laps. Don’t forget about him this week, and remember that price doesn’t mean shit!
