Alsco Uniforms 300: NASCAR DFS Xfinity Picks: DraftKings

HOMESTEAD, FLORIDA – FEBRUARY 27: Noah Gragson, driver of the #9 Bass Pro Shops/True Timber/BRCC Chevrolet, waits on the grid prior to the NASCAR Xfinity Series Contender Boats 250 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on February 27, 2021 in Homestead, Florida. (Photo by Sean Gardner/Getty Images)

Welcome to the show; the name is Dale Tanhardt. The undisputed greatest NASCAR bettor in the history of the universe is back for your NASCAR DFS needs for the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Thanks to Garage Guy Chase and Chef BoiRDeen, this beautiful mullet has been rewarded with the ability to provide YOU with more premium money-making possibilities in 2021.

Their success is unquestionable as year after year they dominate the NASCAR DFS world in the NASCAR Cup Series. It will be remarkably challenging to have to compete with their picks. Good thing I don’t have to.

As Chef and Chase continue to do their thing providing constant DFS cash flow opportunities for the Cup Series, I will be providing all the content you need for the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) continuing this Saturday with the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Look; as much as it breaks my heart, we have to acknowledge what happened last Saturday.

Noah Gragson had no business not winning that race at Homestead. I knew it would happen. The research was there. The positive energy was there. Everything was there to call that win. And then… yeah. You saw what happened.

But just in case you didn’t..

I went from winning A LOT of money with two laps to go to losing, luckily, a minimal amount because Brandon Jones scored a Top 3 at +450 to salvage my slate. It was a straight-betting and DFS tragedy.

I will continue to say it. The unlikelihood of what we have seen over the first three weeks of the season has been unprecedented.

IT. WILL. NOT. SUSTAIN.

Trust me. We just have to put this behind us and keep the confidence because of how agonizingly close we’re getting. The wins are coming. Dale Tanhardt’s expertise, research, and positive energy will prevail. Keep the trust, Garage Fam.

Did I mention I’m on a Whataburger diet?

I’m on a Whataburger diet. Also, must add in my very successful Friday night with #TruckNightInAmerica. We had a massive night between all the Garage Fam. Thank you all so much for the support.

NASCAR Xfinity DFS Picks For DraftKings

Justin Allgaier: #7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $11,000

Justin Allgaier has experienced a tough start to his 2021 campaign. The tough start seems to have bitten the JR Motorsports camp collectively. But, if there were a place Allgaier could rebound, it would be here. In his last six races at Vegas, his finishes are: 4th, 8th, 5th, 31st, 2nd and 3rd. The 31st was a result from a blown engine in 2019.

Starting back in the 37th starting position, I expect the savvy veteran to end up in the Top 5 by the end of this race and stay there if he can keep it clean. He has high potential to be a top scorer on the day if he can pull through.

Colby Howard: #15 JD Motorsports Chevrolet – $6,100

Quick shift here to a bottom-tier play. I like this kid. He seems like he’s always running in the Top 25. If he doesn’t have any sort of mechanical failure, he could pay major dividends as he will start from the 38th position.

He finished 21st in his lone start here in fall of 2020, and his car finished 23rd here in spring of 2020 with a different driver. Some may read his price-tag as a little expensive and call him quite a gamble, but, as I’ve reiterated, it’s Vegas. Gotta roll the dice.

Harrison Burton: #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota – $9,900

Back-to-back weeks I’m riding with my boy Harrison. Last week he likely would have run in the Top 5 had he not experienced a token engine failure very early in the race. I emphatically believe Burton will take the next step this season and be a major title contender in this series.

His finishes of 9th and 5th at this track last year aren’t the sexiest, but I think Harrison will contend for the win on Saturday. I will always consider picking Harrison at tracks where his dad, Jeff Burton, performed well at throughout his career. Racing is in the blood, and Jeff won here a combined five times between his Xfinity and Cup career.

Bayley Currey: #74 Mike Harmon Racing Chevrolet – $6,200

Yeah, I know; I’m writing about Bayley Currey again. But hear me out: Currey is starting P39 and ran 25th in his lone race at Vegas in fall of 2020. I think he can definitely replicate that on Saturday.

With his low floor and cheap price, he is absolutely worth a shot to insert in some of your lineups. Currey has stringed off some solid runs in this #74 machine in the past year, and he’s due for one at Vegas this weekend.

Noah Gragson: #9 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $11,3000

WE ARE NOT GIVING UP ON OUR BOY! I, once again, believe Gragson will be one of the guys to beat today. He’s been too fast. His results at this track since 2019 have accumulated an average finish of 3.75. He runs very strong here, and the pressure is certainly on after the terrible luck he’s had to start off this season.

Noah will finish this one off today. Confidence is at an all-time high. Worst-case scenario he gets a Top 5 finish. You heard it here first. I’m laying it all out on the line. Noah will win you some money today, ladies and gentlemen. It’s Vegas, baby! Let’s keep the momentum going.
