After a brutal NASCAR DFS Sunday for bets in Daytona, I’m recharged and feeling better than ever for the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. I’ve taken in a ton of “BIG DFS DATA” over the past few days, and both DraftKings & FanDuel will feel the wrath of the Garage Fam on race day! For those of you that are in our Discord Server, you’ve seen the passion since last Sunday, and the rest of you just passing through are in for a treat.
Once again, we are faced with a challenging slate based on starting position. The new formula presents its challenges, and honestly, I love the work that goes into figuring out the game. One thing you need to remember is that Homestead-Miami is a 1.5 Mile Intermediate track that allows drivers to get big speed when they’re ripping the top (riding the high line).
The drivers I’m giving you in this article will be evenly spread out amongst my lineups on both DraftKings and FanDuel. My confidence is at an all-time high with NASCAR’s return to oval tracks in 2021, and the Miami Vibes give me an extra push to bag. Be sure to Follow Me On Twitter for any questions you may have leading up to Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race.

Dixie Vodka 400: DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Picks
#19 Martin Truex Jr. – (DK – $11.4K | FD – $12.5K)
This will be my third week in a row betting on Truex Jr. to deliver, and the oval is his friend. Truex Jr. is the current right under the track leader when it comes to running the fastest lap at Homestead-Miami, and boasts a championship win, six Top 5 finishes, and 10 Top 10 finishes. All the energy is on Truex Jr. bringing home some of those fast laps, and a Top 5 finish on Sunday.
#8 Tyler Reddick – (DK – $8.5K | FD – $9.2K)
Tyler “Red Dog” Reddick seemed a little modest on Friday’s NASCAR Zoom Press Conference. Reddick said he and the team couldn’t be as aggressive as he wants to be due to points, but I just don’t see Tyler holding back if a lane for him to get a dub opens up. Reddick starts P35 on Sunday, which would give us INSANE place differential points if he says “Fuck It” and rips the top.
#9 Chase Elliott – (DK – $11K | FD – $13K)
Elliott rolls off from P11 on Sunday and has unfinished business to attend to. Elliott finished in second last year at this track, and if he would have handled Logano’s blocking better, he might have won it. I look for Elliott to make his way towards the front pretty quickly and really critique his passing game to slowly reel in the leader.
#14 Chase Briscoe – (DK – $7.2K | FD – $7K)
NASCAR Rookie Boi Chase Briscoe is making his first Garage Guys DFS appearance this week, and I was also able to speak with him on Friday. I asked Briscoe his thoughts on DraftKings Sportsbook giving him 80/1 odds to win, and shortly after, the confidence just flowed right out. Briscoe is presented as a big gamble, but he’s more like a cheat code to me at this price.
